Have you ever watched a sporting event on the TV or in person and thought, “I could do that still.” You try to do it, but end up with an ice pack on your leg and a trip to the ER.
Have you ever watched a cooking show and said to yourself, “I can make that.” Then you end up ordering take-out Chinese food…
Have you ever said to yourself, “I can do that,” and fall flat on your pride? If you are like me, you have done all three. If you are like me, you do it on a daily basis!
It is often-times humiliating to do that, or to try! This morning I want you to see that you have talents and abilities that are unique to you. You are created for “Such a time as this!” You are here for a purpose that matches the very way God created you! Simply put, “You are one-of-a-kind and perfect for the task that God has for you!”
Let’s travel down the road of “I wish I could!” and see what God has for you in the land of “Wow, I did it!”
