Have you ever used these words? I think so…
In our culture today, we have traded the absolute assuredness of yes and no for “I think so” or “I don’t think so!” We continue to slide into the gray light of doubt, not having a clear picture of that which is for sure. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “We know accurately only when we know little, with knowledge doubt increases.”
As a Christian, I for one do not like this. I believe in the absolute truth that God is “I Am.” I believe that the Bible is the Absolute Truth and Standard for all things, seen and unseen––spoken and unspoken! I believe that Jesus loves all mankind, so much that He willingly defeated death when He died on the cross and then rose from the dead after 3 days! I don’t just believe this; I know this! This is truth to live by!
There are 4 things that I believe with the core of who I am…
- Jesus will Rescue us! Ps. 50:7-23
- Jesus will Listen to you! Jer. 29:10-14
- Jesus will Guide you! Ps. 32:8 and Ps. 119:105
- Jesus will Be with you! Is. 43:1-5 and Matt. 28:20
If you are reading this today and wondering the why’s, the how come’s, or the when’s; know that Jesus will never let you down! He will never leave you hanging (or leave you period)! He will always be just a true heart-felt prayer away!
There is no doubt! This is FOR SURE!
